It has come to the attention of the Woodbridge POA board that there continue to be several streets that are not maintained by the North Carolina State DOT.  These are: Cypress Point Drive, Three Oak Ln, Preston Trial and Dunes from the connection of Quail Hollow to end of the cul-de-sac.  These were identified by the NC DOT District Office.  If anyone who lives on these non-state maintained roads/streets would like to petition the state to take over the roads/streets this process can be initiated by contacting Gary Spangler or John Wortman at the NC DOT District Office in Shelby at 704-480-2080.

North Carolina Statute for "Speed Bumps" on State Maintained Residential Streets

The state has passed a statute allowing for residential subdivisions to place traffic calming devices (speed bumps) on state maintained roads within a residential subdivision.  The document that describes the process the state requires before placing such devices can be viewed by clicking this link.
